IT’S NOT JUST FOR TWO FAT LADIES
-EAGER BINGO LAUNCHES ONCE A MONTH AT THE BRICKHOUSE -
Eager Bingo will launch with a bang at The Brickhouse supper-club and cocktail bar in East London… watch this space for news of the opening date.
If the game of bingo conjures up visions of gambling grannies and seedy slot machines – think again! Eager Bingo keeps the fun and excitement of the game itself but transports it into the ultra trendy Truman Brewery for a night of great food, cool company and delicious drinks.
Retaining the game’s retro appeal, guests buy bingo books on arrival and are handed coloured markers to strike off the numbers called. The books cost £10 for 6 games, which will be played throughout the evening with intervals after every couple of games.
Those who are confident at their digital dexterity may wish to buy multiple books to increase their chances of winning.
With a guaranteed £50 of potential winnings up for grabs on every game and a £100 jackpot for a full house on the 6th and final game, it’s a prize worth pursuing – so don’t be shy about shouting ‘Bingo!’ if you hit full house.
And with a pledge to donate profits made to the charity GamCare, there’s no excuse to not get bingo happy.
Building on The Brickhouse’s background as one of London’s top performance venues, the bingo-caller and performer-extraordinaire, Des O’Conner, will compere the event in a fun and flamboyant fashion with his attractive assistant, Kiki Kaboom.
To tantalize you further they will be providing us with Burlesque and Cabaret treats in the bingo breaks, with time to enjoy bites from the delicious grazing menu and refreshing eager cocktails.
Ed Rigg, Founder of Eager Drinks (and Eager Bingo!) comments: “Bingo is essentially a really fun game but, confined to large out of town halls up and down the country, it has never appealed to the more discerning punter.
Eager Bingo aims to gentrify and urbanise the game to create a thoroughly enjoyable and exciting night out for friends who like decent food, great company, lots of laughs and good drinks.”
If booking a booth seat for six friends, guests can also on the night purchase an Eager Drinks cocktail box, containing all the juices and spirits needed to mix up their own favourite tipple throughout the evening without having to leave their seat.

Next week the first cartons of eager Orange Juice with Bits will be ready for people to try.
In anticipation of this very exciting prosect and the fact that writing the word Bits on the packs is pretty funny Steve who writes all the copy for eager came up with this…
I hope you like eager orange juice with BITS when you taste it…
BY THE WAY THIS IS NOT WRITTEN ON THE PACKS - ITS JUST A JOKE…
Eager Orange Juice (with naughty bits!)
Eager’s pure squeezed orange juice is sourced directly from the groves of the finest orange growers. They’ve been squeezed with the bits, for that complete orange experience - the perfect balance of taste and consistency. And the smooth, light, fresh taste means you can enjoy more than one glass without getting that acidic feeling.
So if you love your bits to bits, if you want to make friends with the orange bits tit, then dive in my friend.
It’s suckle time.

Over the weekend Victoria contacted eager to ask for a bit more information on the background to eager drinks as a company because our website did not have enough information on.
Hopefully below might help to explain a bit more. Please do send an email to ed@eagerdrinks.com if you want any questions about eager drinks answered.
Many thanks
“eager apple juice was born from the love of a perfect vodka and apple juice. Most bars before eager, served sickly sweet concentrated apple juice and I craved a crisp cloudy pressed apple juice. And so my search for the perfect apple juice began”………..

In 2007 eager drinks started very small. Selling from the back of a van that had been loaned to the company and then delivering to some of the top venues in London. The aim was to offer a personalised, enthusiastic service and try to built up a loyal customer base one by one, the brand from day one was popular and has been destined for big things.
eager drinks has grown from selling just apple juice to 1 bar in South East London to NOW selling 8 different flavours to over 1000 of the top bars, clubs, hotels, pubs and restaurants in the UK and abroad.

Realising that eager fruit juices must be doing something right, it was time to contact the supermarkets in the hope that they would stock eager.
I’m pleased to say that as well as having eager fruit juices for breakfast in a boutque hotel, lunch in a stylish gastro pub or in a delicious cocktail in a trendy bar, they are NOW available in two of the UK’s biggest supermarkets Tesco’s and Sainsbury’s.

The ethos behind eager fruit juice is to produce an original, fun and humorous brand that incorporates all the goodness and quality needed for today’s competitive juice market.
The fruit juices are specifically sourced from around the world and imported to the UK, where they are gently pasteurised and simply packaged into brightly coloured cartons that “stand out”

eager fruit juices are 100% natural pressed and squeezed juices and Not from Concentrate but can be stored at room temperature and do not need to be kept in the fridge till after they have been opened. eager fruit juices are just as nature intended, they do NOT contain any preservatives or additives, the fruit is squeezed or pressed and then flash pasteurized for safety and packed ready to drink.

Eager Fruit Juices have been in Tesco for a bit now. Its difficult to get noticed when you are trying to launch a new product…
It was brilliant becasue celebrity chef James Martin has been using Eager Pink Grapefruit Juice to make a Sea Breeze summer cocktail.

Hope you had a good start to 2009.
Please note that Eager are now using a Pink Grapefruit instead of the White Grapefruit Juice that we had in 2008.
